Separation & Reunion

Praise be to God Who created the creation then separated it into infinite other creations. Each of these attests to His Greatness. What can be the sum of infinite testimonies of greatness other than Infinite Greatness Itself?

And among the creation we experience the pain of separation from those whom we love; it is a reflection of the primordial separation of our soul from the presence of the Beloved. Know that, O servant, that as surely as you feel the bitter pain of separation, there exists also the imminent joy of reunion and the only thing that separates these two is the ephemeral entity known as time. All good things come to those who wait.
